Webinar funnel math
Webinars leak at four places: registration, showing up, staying for the pitch, and buying. Put your rates in and see which one is costing the most.
Revenue per registrant is $17.45. That is the most you can pay per registration and break even.
How the math works
- Registrants = visitors × registration rate
- Attendees = registrants × show rate
- Saw the offer = attendees × stayed-to-pitch rate
- Buyers = saw the offer × close rate
- Revenue = buyers × price, ad spend = visitors × cost per visitor
- Cost per registrant = ad spend ÷ registrants, cost per attendee = ad spend ÷ attendees
- Revenue per registrant = revenue ÷ registrants, the most you can pay per registration and break even
Show rate is usually the cheapest lever: reminders by SMS and a same-day session move it more than any change to the registration page.
